Palazzo Gamba Apartments Al Duomo - Florence

The fresh orange juice at the local cafes was a game changer! From the apartment, the Duomo view is amazing, and we loved the spaciousness of our two-bedroom layout. Plus, enjoying beautiful music from street performers while sipping wine from our balcony was pure bliss!

Palazzo gambo was fantastic! The location was incredible, just steps from the Duomo. Our apartment had two bedrooms that you could practically touch the Duomo from the windows. All the amenities we could have wanted - nice elevator, spacious rooms, security, wi fi, and wonderful staff. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel could not be in a better location - directly across the piazza from the Duomo with picture perfect views of the dome. Amazing. Comfortable, quiet, clean and spacious. Plenty of room for us and our two young children. Elevator made it simple to stay on an upper floor. The mini kitchen was perfect for breakfast and dinner since the kids were too tired at night to brave a restaurant. Large windows allowed us to view the piazza at night before going to bed. Wonderful staff especially Marco! He helped us find a store to purchase a car seat for our travels around the country. Wonderful place and would recommend to everyone.

Suggestion - no hand towels or sponge to clean dishes in the kitchenette. No washcloths in the bathrooms - but really not a big deal. Doesnt change our view of the property. We still loved it.

Fine view of the Duomo that really makes the place feel special. The spacious layout is ideal for families.

The bathrooms are cramped. The noise from the lively piazza below can keep you awake at night, especially with bars nearby blending laughter and music well into the wee hours.

Spacious comfortable apartment on an ideal location in the centre of Florence next to the dome. But if you are looking for a real quiet night, you better don't choose a room in the centre of Florence, even on the 6th floor.

The reception promised us, the day we arrived, and at the morning when we checked out, that on the day of our departure, they would keep our luggage in a safe place until we would leave Florence later that day. Twice they mentioned that the luggage would be kept it in an apartment which was used only by the staff. When we came back in the afternoon, our luggage was still at the entrance, next to the door. The receptionist (another person) was rather unfriendly when I asked her why it wasn't put away in a safe place.

Palazzo Gamba is centrally located 'next door' to the main Basilica and is in a great location for anything you want to do in Florence. The apartment itself is very clean and comfortable with all of the fittings you require, except for clothes washing. However a laundromat is a short walk away. Two bathrooms in the apartment we had was good as we shared with friends (four of us in all). The staff, Nora was very helpful in providing information and tips to make our visit more enjoyable. I would have no hesitation in recommending Palazzo Gamba.

Very nice hotel in the center of Florence. Very big rooms just in front of the Duomo. Ideal place if you want to visit the city especially with kids. Our appartment was very big , clean and confortable.

The only problem is the parking as the hotel is situated in the pedestrian zone. You have to leave the car near the hotel and wait for spmeone from the parking to take it! You also have to pay 32 euros per day!

Wonderful location so close to everything that you want to see, top-class staff, everything was perfect. The rooms were huge and generous-sized, equipped with a high ceiling, a kitchen and a lounge area. Free Wi-Fi was excellent and the service was courteous...

The Palazzo Gamba Apartments Al Duomo offered a spacious apartment with all essential amenities, located just steps away from the Duomo. Our two-bedroom, two-bath apartment provided fine views and was perfect for our group. The helpful staff, especially Antonio, ensured smooth check-in and addressed our needs promptly, contributing greatly to our enjoyable stay.

The bathrooms were relatively small, but still functional.

The best part is location. We had booked a 2 bedroom apartment. However, we were upgraded to the 3 bedroom, 7th floor, Penthouse. It was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting out in the Balconies and watching the city and the crowds. The on-site staff were very helpful.

the apartment was well-equipped with utensils for cooking. it can get quite noisy at night.

The apartments were very large and the appointed very well. It was immaculate, modern and the location was incredible! I had made reservations for 2 apartments because we were two couples and one single and when we saw our apartment we could have easily stayed together with lots of private space and great family space. I must also mention the incredible view, we felt like we could touch the Duomo! Marco and Nora at the desk could not have been more helpful...We will always stay at this Palazzo when in Firenze.

The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful including the lovely 2 girls who cleaned our apartment.

The location was excellent but rather noisey at night from outside noise and sirens.
